A View of Biang in Late Spring is a magnum opus of Chinese drawing history. It described the prosperous scenes of Bianliang, the capitnl of Northern Song Dynasty (now Kaifeng, Henan Province), in its golden time.
Through detailed and vivid description of aulic life, commercial activity, architectural construction, technical engineering, and other social activities,the author provided us precious information of the study on history, folklore, economy and culture of Song Dynasty, this value helped the painting to win a vorldwide fame.
